Over the past two years of market accumulation, we have accumulated many end customers of high-quality valve manufacturing plants. These customers face the same problem. Valves need to be processed on multiple sides and the customer’s similar products are in large batches. The product size must be at least 600mm. The standard horizontal travel on the market is not enough, and the processing cost with a boring machine is too high. Or some customers use radial drills to process, and the efficiency is too low. Or it is gantry milling, the equipment cost is too high, the return on investment is too slow, and it can only process the upper and lower surfaces, the flange surface of the middle mouth still needs a radial drill or other equipment to replace.
In order to solve the processing problems of such customers, our factory BOSM specially developed and designed a horizontal drilling and boring machine under the premise of ensuring the processing effect and the high quality of the machine. This equipment has a very high cost performance, which can realize the processing of multiple surfaces in one clamping, improving efficiency and quality. Customers have different sizes of workpieces, and fixtures can be used to fix the workpieces.
For valve/reducer three-dimensional size above 800mm, four-sided or multi-sided processing requires rotary positioning and indexing of workpieces for rapid drilling. The aperture of this kind of valve polyhedral parts is mostly below 50mm, and milling planes and boring are required. According to technological requirements, a 1m*1m square worktable or a φ1.2m numerical control index plate is installed, with an indexing accuracy of 0.001 degrees, and the iron cutter can automatically fall down into the cutting machine for easy cutting.
